Fee Structure

Our fees are based on 2 things -forms and time.

Forms refers to the number of forms used to accurately prepare your tax returns. Time is associated with the time needed for bookkeeping input, reconciliation, and preparation of financial reports.

By outsourcing your bookkeeping/accounting

Your time will be freed up to focus on what you do best - your business.
You will not have to pay the overhead costs or training time associated with an employee.
Your books will be more accurate since I can assign income/expenses to their appropriate categories.

My fees are less than what a CPA firm would charge you and your books and tax returns will be more accurate than at a tax preparation store. I am very attentive to detail and have found deductions which other long-time preparer have skipped or previous bookkeepers categorized incorrectly. I consider small businesses, home businesses, and corporations my specialty, however I am available to everyone.

Tax Preparation:

There are only 2 guarantees in life - death and taxes. One of them is not as complicated as the other!

If you go and see a doctor for medical problems, a grocery store for food, why would you not see a tax preparer for your taxes? It is not as expensive as you believe it to be!

I have found most people who do there own taxes does it incorrectly. They will hear friends talk about what their accountants did for them and believe they can apply it to their own situation. Or they will have a home business and will take certain deductions, but skip others they did not know they were entitled to.

The key to finding a tax preparer is

Are the licensed and bonded with the State of California?
Do they have experience processing your type of return? (individuals, small businesses, corporations, etc.)
Have they worked with clients similar to your situation? (unemployed, had foreclosures, specific industries for businesses)
Do they offer e-file and assist you with tax planning for the following year?
